ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I am a former bank executive who took up writing after I retired in 2006. In addition to my novels, I have written five newspaper columns for the Dallas Morning News and have had two short stories published by Austin College via Big Barn Press. THE DORNAK FAMILY
Like Brenda, one of the main characters in my books, I hail from a wonderful BIG family (100% Czech!) in South Texas. Surrounding my parents in this photo are the Dornak siblings, from left to right: Kathleen, Melinda, Carolyn, Mark, Jerry, Yours Truly, Paul, Denise, and Tim.
