MEET THE HOUNDS!

BLOSSOM is just one of the many GALT greyhounds depicted in my second novel, Hounds and Humans. With two exceptions, the hound names mentioned in this book are the real names of some of the hounds adopted by several of the author's "GREYT" human friends! Read on for more info about all of the hounds in the book!

REBEKKA a/k/a YOUR ROYAL HIGHNESS is the cranky hound of Cat Wojtas in Hounds and Humans. She also narrates some chapters and is the star of RAMBLINGS WITH REBEKKA in the Hearts4Hounds (H4H) eNewsletter. 

CLARA is REBEKKA's younger sister a/k/a THE INTERLOPER who invades her big sister's queendom. Clara loves to wear hats and tutus, narrates some chapters, and produces her own eNewsletter column, CHATS WITH CLARA!

REX, the handsome, laid-back younger brother of REBEKKA and CLARA, makes all of the female hounds AND humans swoon! REX and CLARA become fabulous therapy dogs, visiting patients in Skilled Nursing and Memory Care facilities. 

RIVER is a boisterous greyhound puppy who becomes Sara's 95th foster! Sara quickly decides to "foster fail" with her new puppy a/k/a THE PIPSQUEAK. RIVER also becomes the mascot for Brenda's Spring River Wolverines basketball team!

BLOSSOM  is Amy's aging hound mix who is madly in love with REX and always comes to his mom's annual New Year's Eve parties. By the end of the book, she is approaching her fifteenth birthday!

PEANUT is Gracie's gorgeous senior girl who loves to lounge on the sofa between her mom and papa while they watch TV.

DELILAH, a former champion racer, and SMALLS, a hound mix found as a stray, are Brenda's two senior hounds. They are a bonded pair who are beginning to show their age, at eight and seven, respectively.

PIXIE is a petite, mischievous

 greyhound mix who was rescued from a hoarding situation. She was adopted by Gracie's son, Andy, and his wife, Lori.
