REX, the handsome, laid-back younger brother of REBEKKA and CLARA, makes all of the female hounds AND humans swoon! REX and CLARA become fabulous therapy dogs, visiting patients in Skilled Nursing and Memory Care facilities.

RIVER is a boisterous greyhound puppy who becomes Sara's 95th foster! Sara quickly decides to "foster fail" with her new puppy a/k/a THE PIPSQUEAK. RIVER also becomes the mascot for Brenda's Spring River Wolverines basketball team!

BLOSSOM, Amy's aging hound mix, is madly in love with REX. She loves to see him at Miss Cat's annual New Year's Eve parties, along with his sisters, Rebekka and Clara. By the end of the book, Blossom is approaching her fifteenth birthday!

PEANUT is Gracie's gorgeous senior girl who loves to lounge on the sofa between her mom and papa while they watch TV. She's so elegant, she drinks her water from a plastic wine glass!

DELILAH, a former champion racer, and SMALLS, a hound mix found as a stray, are Brenda's two senior hounds. They are a bonded pair who are beginning to show their ages, at eight and seven, respectively.
